Gardenful is an iPhone app that helps homeowners turn yard photos, styles, and plant inspiration into climate-aware garden ideas with real plant choices and a nursery-ready plant list.

Gardenful is for homeowners who want a better-looking yard but feel stuck between hiring a designer, collecting inspiration, and guessing at the nursery. It is especially useful for beginners who know what they like visually but do not know which plants belong in their yard.

Use your camera or photo library to identify a plant that catches your eye. Gardenful shows likely matches, plant photos, and care guidance when available, then lets you save the plant as inspiration for a future garden design.

Gardenful combines your yard photo, selected planting area, style preferences, saved plant inspiration, climate zone, and sun exposure. It then creates a visual garden idea with plants chosen for your space.

If the first result is not quite right, you can refine the design with more control over style, plants, and guidance until it fits what you had in mind.

Gardenful uses your location or ZIP code to estimate your USDA hardiness zone, then prioritizes plants that are appropriate for that climate. A growing zone is an important starting point, but soil, watering, sunlight, planting timing, and care still affect real-world results.

After a garden design, Gardenful creates a plant list with:

• Plant names
• Suggested quantities
• Each plant's role in the design, such as focal point, filler, or border accent

It is designed to help you shop at a local nursery or garden center, where you can confirm current availability.

Generic plant identifiers mostly answer “what is this plant?” Gardenful uses Plant ID as a starting point for garden planning: identify a plant, learn about it, save it as inspiration, check whether it fits your yard, and use it in an AI garden design for your own space.

Plant ID suggests likely matches from a photo. Because many plants and cultivars look alike, treat it as a helpful starting point for learning and planning, not a guarantee of exact cultivar, patented variety, toxicity, disease, or professional horticultural diagnosis.

Pinterest is useful for visual inspiration, but it does not know your yard, climate, sun exposure, or planting constraints. Gardenful keeps the inspiration, then connects it to your yard photo, growing zone, style preferences, and plant list.

Many AI landscape tools start and stop with a pretty image. Gardenful connects the visual idea to real plant choices, your climate, your selected yard area, and a list you can use when shopping locally.

Gardenful gives you a fast, affordable way to explore garden ideas, plant combinations, and visual direction on your own schedule. You can compare options before buying plants or deciding whether you want local help with a larger project.

Gardenful is currently available for iPhone and requires iOS 18.0 or later. It is not currently offered as an Android or web app.

Gardenful is free to try. Free usage may include limited garden visualizations or Plant ID uses, while Garden Pass unlocks additional usage and premium features.

You can delete your account directly in the app from Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes your data from our servers. If you need help, contact us at support@gardenful.app.
