What Gardenful does
Gardenful starts with a photo of your yard. You select the area to change and share your style preferences, plant inspiration and site details such as growing zone and sun exposure.
The app generates a visual planting concept for that area, with named plants, their roles in the design, suggested quantities and design notes. You can refine the result by adjusting the style, plants and design guidance, then take the plant list to a local nursery.
Plant identification is another starting point: identify a plant from a photo, review likely matches, save a plant you like and use it as inspiration for a garden design.

Who Gardenful helps
Gardenful is for homeowners and beginner gardeners who can picture a yard they like but are unsure what to plant. It helps them explore a front-yard refresh, a new bed or a different garden style before spending on plants.
Gardenful combines a yard visualizer with plant suggestions: you see how a planting idea looks in your own space, then get the plants and quantities behind it.
Availability and pricing
Gardenful is available worldwide on the App Store, for gardens in any country. It requires an iPhone with iOS 18.0 or later. The garden-design app is not currently available on Android or in a web browser.
Free to download and try with limited free usage. Optional Garden Pass subscriptions provide additional usage. Garden Pass has weekly and annual subscription options. Prices vary by App Store region and are shown in the app.
Scope and limitations
- Visual planning: designs are concepts, not measured site surveys, construction drawings or grading, drainage, irrigation or permitting plans.
- Plant suitability: climate-aware suggestions are a starting point. Confirm sun, soil, drainage, watering, mature size, planting timing and local restrictions before buying.
- Plant identification: photo identification provides likely matches. It does not establish an exact cultivar, diagnose disease or determine whether a plant is safe to eat or safe for pets.
- Shopping: plant names and quantities are suggestions to check against the real space. The list does not show live nursery stock or guarantee availability or plant survival.
